Visibility and Market Positioning of a Development Bank
International Financial Consulting Ltd was engaged by a Development Finance Institution to undertake an institutional study of its visibility and market positioning. A major component of this project was to examine the unique value proposition in relation to its business model and long-term financial sustainability. The research was conducted as an extension to a previous assignment our team undertook to examine the DFI's pricing methods used for loans to private sector borrowers. IFCL drafted and delivered the Assessment and Liability Management Policies and Credit Policy, and provided recommendations on a business model, an external positioning report and a communications strategy that strengthened the DFI's regional and global visibility.
