International Financial Consulting Ltd. was engaged by an Asian financial institution to conduct a research project on the latest trends and developments in the provision of financial services, including new initiatives and strategies by major Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs). The study focused on emerging trends in financial products such as loans, equities, mezzanine finance, guarantees and insurance. The analysis reviewed the extent to which financial products offered by ECAs and DFIs are tied to foreign investments in their countries. Key export and development drivers were also analyzed to describe the current competitive landscape and measure market risks.
