Marta has worked in 30+ countries over 25 years, at the intersection of public, private, and philanthropic investment, developing global expertise in the design, implementation, and evaluation of creative financing solutions and strategy. At Momentus, Marta draws upon a multi-disciplinary perspective to advise clients on strategy and performance, with a focus on innovation and inclusive finance, to leverage capital for Paris Agreement and SDG- aligned impact around the world. 

Marta has advised UN agencies, the IFC/World Bank, and numerous multinational and national public policy banks, including green banks, on the design and implementation of institutional strategy, funds, and programs. She has led international consultations and stakeholder engagement initiatives conducting strategy and impact evaluations utilizing OECD/DAC criteria; has designed performance measurement systems for complex multi-national initiatives; and, she has advised governments on the transition to sustainable finance ecosystems,  strengthening enabling legal, regulatory and policy environments. 

Prior to consulting, Marta’s career spanned impact investment, strategic philanthropy, structured/project and blended finance transaction work, portfolio management and executive mandates across sectors in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas; she has implemented US$2B+ in innovative  finance solutions, setting commercial, legal, and regulatory precedents. Marta holds an International MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degree.
