Streisanne Suter


Prior to joining International Financial Consulting Ltd, Streisanne worked with the Trade and Environment Division at Global Affairs Canada to advance Canada’s trade and environment priorities in free trade agreements and with TechnoServe in Lima, Peru to assist in the closeout of a seven-year, USAID-funded development program. She has also interned with the OECD Trade and Agricultural Directorate and the Global Business Development branch at Export Development Canada.

Professional Highlights

  • Supported the Trade and Environment Division of Global Affairs Canada with ongoing negotiations of environment provisions in Canada’s bilateral and regional free trade agreements.
  • Contributed to briefing materials on trade and agriculture-related subjects for the OECD Secretary-General’s bilateral meetings.
  • Assisted in the implementation of a new client onboarding process for Export Development Canada.

Streisanne has lived and worked in France, Switzerland, Croatia, Colombia, Peru, and Canada. She speaks English, French, and has limited working proficiency in Spanish.

Streisanne holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Carleton University.
