Combining a unique mix of consulting and corporate experience in development finance, export and trade credit insurance and international development cooperation, Jennifer has a successful track record of developing innovative solutions for public and private organizations around the globe looking to promote trade and development as engines of economic growth.

Over the past decade, Jennifer has advised a wide range of organizations, from multilateral risk insurers, national development banks and export credit agencies, to federal Ministries, regional governments, and commercial banks on development finance and trade promotion topics. Jennifer is well versed in managing complex stakeholder relations in an international environment and dedicated to support her clients in achieving desired outcomes.

Professional Highlights

  • Led a multi-year technical assistance project supporting a multilateral trade credit insurer to become a key enabler and partner for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects under the SE4All initiative.

  • Advised the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy on policy aspects in regard to the development of international export finance frameworks.

  • Led the financial product development for the set-up of a new development agency in the Middle East.

Outside of International Financial Consulting Ltd.

Prior to joining International Financial Consulting Ltd., Jennifer was a Manager at PwC Advisory in Germany where she managed project teams and client relations. She also worked several years for the official export and investment credit guarantee scheme of Germany, gaining deep knowledge of export finance transactions. As technical advisor for the German Development Corporation GIZ, she spent several years on the African continent working with Ministries, industry associations and NGOs to advance national development priorities. In the beginning of her career, she worked in the portfolio and risk management departments of several German development banks.

Jennifer holds a double-degree in European Business Studies from the European School of Business Reutlingen, Germany, and from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Spain. She researched on organisational development in the public sector.
